We formed our organization to provide a solution in filling a void in opportunities in higher education for children with special needs.

Our Mission
Our mission is to advocate and support families with children with special needs. Our main focus is educating families and providing support to current and future educators working in the special education field.
Because of supporters like yourself, students and individuals will be able to pursue a degree they may have never believed was obtainable. More than 8 years ago, Donald Newcomb and his wonderful wife Laura, decided to begin a school for children with Autism. Don was instrumental in developing the 4 building blocks that would serve as the foundation for the Autism Academy. Don was passionate about the first building block "Kids First in Every Decision". From then on, the Newcomb family decided to form the "Don Newcomb Charity for Academic Success" to continue his legacy and enable students, educators, and individuals to have the opportunity to further their education in their desired field. We specifically work with students with special needs, helping them obtain their goals of going on to higher education. We believe Students First, Forever First.
